Okay so I got this for my son and I for Christmas and he wants to do some upgrading and modifying. So here I am asking for some help. I have done my research and come up with it might be a Ken-Bar red talon. It has a Briggs 5hp and runs well. It goes fast enough now for a 9 year old. Things i'm interested in our a roll cage, better seats, better brakes and a live axle upgrade; but don't know were to get them. Also does anyone know were I can get a manual for the kart itself or the engine.

Hi aircrewjoe , It certainly looks like a Ken Bar Red Talon, If you look at this restoration thread, you'll see what I mean. and you can try to find the exact model by going here.

As for parts, I would contact GokartsRUs Customer Service, to see if they can help you or they can direct you to the right place. Just remember these are older gokarts, and you might have to custom make a roll cage if you find one. Best of luck and lets us know how you make out.
