Disc brake help

Postby stigs kart » Fri Nov 19, 2010 10:15 am

Bought my son a Murray Explorer that I thought I got a deal on... and is turning into a money pit! The caliper was siezed up so a bought a replacement (Comet model 218070A) and am having trouble getting it installed. Problem is that the lever arm on the caliper seems to activate/squeeze the wrong direction... meaning I need the arm to "pull" to the front of the cart and it is set up the oposite direction. Any way to revese this or did I end up with the wrong caliper? Hope this makes sense and thanks for your help!

There's no way to reverse the unit? I would call the place you brought it from and see if they sent the wrong thing to you. Mistakes do happen.
