Carter Light question

Hi

I am trying to rebuild a Carter 2 seat go-Kart for my son (model 2506-3017) it has a 6hp engine that supplies voltage to two lights on the roll cage when the engine is running. The markings on the bulbs are pretty worn off and I am not sure of the number on them (I think it is an 862, but I’m not sure). The bulbs look to be auto headlight bulbs. Does anyone know the proper model number of the bulbs or what the wattage of the bulbs is (I know it has to be 12 volts).

Hi,
If you take the bulbs out and take them to a good auto parts store, you should be able to replace the bulb, or for that matter find a similar light and just reuse the mounting brackets.
