how to remove rear rims off my Murray go cart

Hello!??

I was using google to find out how do i remove the rear rims and tires off my murray go cart and came across this site and joined!


i took the big bolt off but the rim still wont budge!!! how the heck do i get it off!!??

Grab some wd 40 a hammer and slowly bang it out it should come right off. You might need to bang hard though if it's really stuck.

i tried that?!!......i'll give it a try and with a sledge hammer!.....lol

its kinda hard to get a good spot on the rim to hit.


so once the BIG BOLT comes off ...thats all hold it it on? no clip? cotta pin?

Some do have cotta pins but it would been in front of the nut, sometimes they get stuck on there really good you need to give a few whacks to get it loose. Can you post a picture of the tire in question?

i tried to post a picture from photobucket but it wont let me for some reason.

whats up wit dat!???? ...lol


the cart hasnt been moved in years and just been sitting there with 2 rear flat tires....I would like to get the tires tubed and then work on getting the cart to fire up...thats a different problem i'll work on next.

Yeah you need to join the bypass word group and a moderator needs to give you access. If want , send me the link to the photo, I can post it up for you.

If you have pictures of the kart you can add them to your gallery, see the word gallery below your post.

My only problem was getting the bolts off.they were really tight.after that i just jiggled the wheels off.they were rusty but not enough to do anything.the bolts and the key are the only things there.there is some washers too.thats it.
Fix things even if they are not broke. Its called UPGRADES!!
