Tire repair

Postby red johnny » Tue Sep 23, 2008 2:27 pm

Hey guys I want to repair my current leaky tires with tire slime. I also have a few lawn mower tires that could use assistance as well. How well does tire slime hold up on such a small tire? If nothing else I want to reduce the ammount that leaks out. I have a few tires that take about a week to get to 10PSI or below. Also whats a good running tire pressure for dirt? I ride on grass mostly and have been tearing it up a bit more than I like. Thanks!

I'd help you out Red, but I never used the stuff. I put the tire in the old water trick and plug it. I think with any of that stuff, if the tire is just sitting, it's gonna leak too... :cyclopsani:

Slime, fix a flat, seal-all, etc...do not work. They just cost alot of money, and make a mess when you finalyl have to break down and fix the problem.

There are 2 ways to fix a leaky tire. Tube it, or replace it. Anything else is just a bandaid.
