A tree jumped out of no where

Postby schatten » Fri Jun 23, 2006 10:28 am

one holiday I went to louisiana to visit my grandpa and me and my brother took our go karts. Well his yard was a big yard so we had room to ride them but every 5ft or less there was a tree. But we rode them any way and we started to race in and out of the trees. I was going and swerved around a tree and then swerved back so I didnt hit another tree. Then all of a sudden this tree just jumped out of no where and I hit it direcltly in the front of my go kart. The front of the fram ( bumper ) hit the tree and it bent in and up and was now against the pedals. so I pushed it to the house and we just cut it off with a blowtorch cause my grandpas welder was broke and we just welded it back on when we got home. But when I hit the tree the roll bars over the motor hit the tree along with my head, but lucky I was wereing my helmet then. My chest also hit the stearing wheel so my chest and head hurt.

in my sig you can see the front of the go kart is bent alittle cuase we couldnt get it to straghten out all the way cuase it was bent up so bad.

I live in maine and i was trail riding on my yerfdog last summer and i did not have a helmet on and a oak branch the size of my arm broke off over head of the dune buggy it went strait through the top of my cart and peirced my arm strait through breaking both bones. So from there that was only the least of my problems the other part was trying to get my self to my house with my left hand and i think i just barley made it home when i fainted. the next thing i knew was that i was in the back of the jeep and my brother trucked me off to the hospital.

Hey Jo, if you hadn't fainted and had driven yourself to the hospital, I'd say ' You Might be a Redneck"
That's one heck of a story.
I made the mistake one time of trying to catch a vehicle on a gravel road and ended up spitting up rocks and dust for a while.
Almost as bad as the first time I tried tp siphon gas from a pickup.
I had 87 octane hiccups for two days!!!!! Remember when siphoning gas always use a clear hose!

Well I grew up where the closest gas station was 15 miles away! And I was about 9 when I tried to siphon the gas.
Anyone using the 10% methanol blend gas? My old Chevy 350 is pinging on the stuff, guess the 10:1 compression doesn't help.
