Master link keeps breaking

Hi have a manco dingo kart I just got working. It has a predator 212 motor with a 30 series torque converter. Currently running 10T sprocket with a #41 chain. However I keep breaking the master link on it. If I move up to a #420 or #40 chain will the chain work with the 10T sprocket. Looking for information before I go out and buy a new chain.

Before you do anything is the TC aligned right? If you keep breaking the master link , there is a problem causing it, Make sure your all aligned and don't have any slight offset causing the chain to pop the master link.
