New to the site. I have a Funder Wheels Kart since 1994 and have recently refurbished it. Be glad to talk to anyone who has questions or has an old one sitting around. I also have the Owners Manual to share.

This is what it looked like for 23 years, before the refurbishment.

Had a friend repair a couple of cracks in the body and then painted it for me. Took the engine to a lawnmower shop to have carb cleaned. Everything else I did on my own, which wasn’t too much. Tore it down, cleaned it, put decals on, painted chassis and other parts with shaker can, and just switching out some hardware. One thing I tackled was repairing the plastic couplings for both hand levers. Each had plastic parts broken off so I just researched YouTube for ideas. Ended up using baking soda and superglue to fill in. Just shaped it with a file to get the contour as best I could. Worked really well and very solid.

Here’s after the baking soda and superglue, but before I filed it down. Just used black spray paint when I was done shaping it.
