Please forgive me for not using the correct terms here, I just bought this kart 2 days ago for $50. It had a broken pull cord and they told me something was wrong with the throttle cable. I fixed the pull cord issue and was able to get it started. I also can ride it (its a lot faster than I thought it would be) but only by rigging a wire and attaching one end of the wire to that same whole that the little spring is attached on the Carburetor. I then start it, and pull on the other end of the wire with my hand and the kart will go forward. yeahh.
It wont go forward if I try and use the gas pedal. I dont know/understand how the throttle cable makes the thing on the Carburetor move to give it power. Does anyone know where I can find this info? It is a Briggs & Stratton model: 136202 type: 971009yb.
