Re: How to identify your Manco Models Name

Hi, new member here and dont know much about navigating this forum so please bare with me....thanks!
i just purchased what i think is a Manco Super Deuce from what iv gathered from info so far. it has the Honda 18hp engine. iv not been able to find any tag on the frame to idetify it as of yet, but im going from pics iv seen on various sites. wandering if someone can tell me where i should be looking for this tag (to make sure its not hidden outa sight). i do have some pics i was gona try posting if need be. i was gona try identifying engine but havnt found serial there yet either. the kart was in pretty good condition but it does have a few issues i thought i could fix.
1) my steering travels sooo far the tires rub the frame on hard L/R turns, and it makes lock n drag wheels when in reverse.
2) are the spindles supposed to be vertical, because they are slanted which makes the wheels almost drop toward the frame on these hard L/R turns?
3) trying to tell what the date of manufacture is, (which i may get from enigine code once i break that one) ?
ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
im looking to find a sevice manual if theres one out there.
also trying to find the approx value (which i may try ebay)
THANKS :)

Sorry, I'm no help to you is there anything else on the frame that might indicate a model # or parts #, Also posting an image of the Mini bike might help in identifying it.

Model 593 had a 3.5hp Tecumseh on it
Model 594 had a 4hp Subaru Robin engine

Base frame works were the same

http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/projects ... -kart.html

I have a dingo that looks very similar to this one, except it only had one loop around the motor(May have had 2) has the sprocket on the right(facing motor from behind) and the centrifugal pulley and stuff on the left. Can anyone please tell me what type of dingo this is? And possibly the model number. The serial number is 1636349. Please email me at gareedy21@yahoo.com

Could anyone please help identify the model no. for this Manco two seat go kart I've just bought for my son in the UK.
It runs great but needs two new front wheels.
The serial no. is 1593886.
I'm attaching a photo.

Looks like a 405 or 485

look at the parts manual and see if it matches up....

Many thanks. That's a big help. It's a two seater and seems to match the 485.

That looks like a Manco Dingo 285 or 286, does it have any markings on the frame? see if the go kart matches the Manual
