Update: I turned the screw out 2 more turns, totaling in 5 loosen turns. Wow, i think i will leave it like this now lol Or atleast until i get a stiffer spring.

just take the screw out you ain't going to hurt anything that's just a throttle stop your engine is still governed to 4000 rpm if you jank out the governor than that's a different situation

still there are a few factors. 1 mainly i dont want to bend my spring. It already looks extreme. Plus my throttle cable probably wouldnt be ready for all that.

Tis' true, I havn't been on much lately, I've been working on the golf cart, and if not working on that I have been AT work. I am picking the head up from the machine shop today because I had it milled. I also have a cr80 carb. coming for it, etc. etc. etc. That piece ork is talkin about is probably a throttle stop.

just so u kno memphis is wrong ur engine wont blow up if you take the screw out its just dangerous and not recemended because ur pushing ur engine really hard and if u do be prepared to get a new tav or upgrade to a 40series

as long as its not too stupid it wont go boom unless its something stupid that u do to the engine like put water in the crankshaft but like repeating the dukes of hazzard wont blow ur engine unless it lands on the engine on a big sharp rock or something

If you ^^ can outrun your engine on foot than you have a serious problem.

Can someone post a picture of this screw being discussed? I have a 7hp robin and I'm aiming to suck as much out of it as possible. Thanks a million.
