1" shaft conversion custom made....
Polaris trailmaster 250 torque converter
Stock frame silverfox gusseted
Kawasaki kfx shocks mounted on the front
Yamaha blaster rear shocks
Custom front spindles
Larger atv wheels and tires on the front.
Doing some sort of hydraulic brake conversion.
Looking for a way to put an atv front end on and build a j-arm independent rear suspension
My goal is to keep the motor comfortably at 7500 rpm and let my kids have some fun with it. We had been using the comet 30/40 series tc but belts were getting shredded basically every time we drove it. I believe that this was due to the weight of the kart combined with the increased power of the old motor. This new motor should make considerably more power. So that is why I bought the much MUCH larger Polaris torque converter.
I will take pics as I go. All parts are in my hand with exception of the cam and the new longer rod.
I quit working on this kart for a bit as we bought a Chinese (Kandi) kart. That was a huge waste of time and money. Everything broke on that. The motor, the frame....Everything. I am back with the manco as it was a solid built kart.
